Angie Dos Santos serves as an Appraisal Reviewer at Young & Associates, bringing a wealth of knowledge in real estate valuation and industry regulations. With a career spanning multiple facets of business and real estate, she offers a unique perspective that enhances the firm’s appraisal review process.

Angie established her own appraisal firm in the early 2000s, managing a small team and working extensively with realtor groups, builder’s associations and county government development advisory boards. Before joining Young & Associates as a full-time team member, she worked with the firm as a contract appraisal reviewer, further solidifying her expertise in appraisal review and compliance.

With a strong background in real estate appraisal, market analysis, and regulatory adherence, Angie plays a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the appraisal review process at Young & Associates.

MJ McGowan Curtis specializes in commercial appraisal reviews within the lending division at Young & Associates. In addition to her career working with a large real estate construction firm, she has more than 7 years of experience analyzing and reviewing appraisals of commercial, hospitality, retail and industrial real estate.

Her technical and compliance reviews determine whether the appraiser’s methods, assumptions, and value conclusions are reasonable, supported, compliant with USPAP and bank regulatory agencies’ appraisal regulations, and consistent with supervisory guidance. Her reviews provide each client with a detailed report, outlining the adequacy of each appraisal.

Casey Simpson, Consultant and Manager of Appraisal Review Services, brings extensive experience and expertise to her role at Young & Associates. With an appraisal career spanning back to 2003, Casey’s dedication and passion for the industry are evident.

In her role as Appraisal Review Manager, Casey is responsible for overseeing the technical and compliance reviews of all residential property appraisals. She is readily available to address the concerns of our lenders and ensures that each appraisal meets and exceeds regulatory requirements.

Before stepping into this leadership role, Casey was involved in various facets of the appraisal industry, having worked in real estate sales and as an independent fee appraiser for many years. Her experience also extends to collaborating with multiple appraisal management companies, where she specialized in residential appraisal review and collateral review consulting.

Casey’s educational background complements her practical experience, with a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Kent State University. Her diverse skill set and dedication to maintaining the highest industry standards make her a valued asset to our team and a driving force behind our commitment to excellence.
