Craig M. Horsch

Craig Horsch is a Consultant in Young & Associates’ lending department where he brings a community-oriented philosophy and over 38 years of diverse banking experience. Craig’s experience includes the areas of financial reporting, budgeting, lending with concentration in commercial and Ag lending, underwriting, operations, risk management, ALCO, security, corporate administration, ALLL, strategic planning, and stress testing. His background also includes senior management positions, including Cashier, Security Officer, CFO, CCO, Security Officer and, most recently, President and CEO at a small community bank in central Illinois. Craig holds a B.A. in Business Management with a concentration in Banking from North Central College in Naperville, IL and is also an Illinois Licensed Insurance Producer.

Wendy Dancer

Wendy Dancer is a Consultant in Young & Associates’ lending department. She is part of a team that performs comprehensive loan review across a broad spectrum of financial institutions. 

Prior to joining Young & Associates, she held the position of Commercial Credit Department Officer at a community bank in southern central Michigan, where she managed all aspects of credit administration utilizing best practice and compliance standards. Wendy also served as a Vice President Business Banking Lender at a midwest regional bank working with a portfolio of clients from many industries. Her most recent position as a financial advisor rounded out her financial industry background, but credit and lending is the area she enjoys most.

Wendy graduated with a B.A. from Central Michigan University.

Rhonda White

Rhonda White is a consultant for outsourced loan and escrow servicing and manager of the accounting department at Young & Associates. Rhonda values the relationships with our loan servicing customers and is committed to excellent service. She provides servicing of simple loans, escrow processing and analysis, complex loan servicing and modifications, as well as all reporting to our loan servicing customers and 1098 reporting to the borrower.  She has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and 8 years in loan servicing.

Oliver Sutherin

Ollie Sutherin serves as the CFO of Young & Associates. 

Previously serving as Principal of Y&A Credit Services, Ollie held key responsibilities in steering the development, growth, implementation, and strategic planning initiatives for the company.

Commencing his banking journey in 2016, Ollie concentrated primarily on the commercial banking sphere. His tenure with Young & Associates commenced with a focus on the company’s loan review process, delving into the fundamentals of lending, credit, and actively engaging in fieldwork for loan reviews. Transitioning to a credit analyst role in a West Virginia regional bank further enriched his expertise.

Rejoining Young & Associates in 2018, Ollie contributed significantly to the loan review department, conducting meticulous third-party and due diligence reviews for small and regional banks. His responsibilities expanded as he assumed a managerial role in lending administration, revolutionizing the department’s information distribution and documentation through streamlined processes and the successful implementation of a new software platform. Under his leadership as the Quality Control Department Manager, the department experienced two record-breaking revenue years, nearly doubling its productivity.

Ollie holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from West Virginia University in Morgantown and completed an MBA with a concentration in Management from Marshall University. His steadfast commitment to excellence and innovative approaches to financial strategies continue to drive Young & Associates’ success in the dynamic financial industry.

Jerry Sutherin

With over 30 years in the financial services industry, Jerry Sutherin is the CEO of Young & Associates. Jerry purchased the company in February 2018 and manages the company’s day-to-day operations and corporate planning.

He is also part of the company’s lending and loan review division, where he provides community banks throughout the region and the U.S. with third-party loan review, lending policies and procedures, loan portfolio due diligence, and ALLL review services.

Prior to joining Young & Associates, Jerry worked in varying capacities ranging from supervising an Asset Quality/Loan Review function at a large regional bank to managing a $2.5 billion loan portfolio responsible for loan performance, credit quality, and departmental efficiency.

Jerry has earned a National Loan Review Certification from the Bank Administration Institute, and graduated with Honors from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He has other post-graduate degrees as well, including a Bachelors of Business Administration Finance degree from Kent State University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Steubenville.

Linda Fisher

Leveraging over three decades of experience in banking and commercial real estate, Linda Fisher brings a comprehensive skill set to Young & Associates. With a deep-rooted understanding of regional and community bank lending, Linda possesses a diverse skill set encompassing an array of proficiencies, including commercial underwriting, loan review, credit administration, and policy development.

With extensive experience in senior credit management roles, Linda has effectively overseen critical functions including commercial underwriting and loan review, credit administration, compliance, and the development of credit-related policies and procedures. Her background encompasses credit management projects, ranging from CRE and C&I loans, to non-profit organizations and government entities. Additionally, her passion for community banking led to the successful development of a small business lending program, which has nurtured local entrepreneurship and catalyzed economic growth.  Linda also brings prior expertise in various facets of commercial real estate brokerage, development, and valuation services.

Linda’s academic accomplishments include an undergraduate degree from Seton Hill College, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, and a Pennsylvania real estate salesperson’s license.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Linda has actively contributed to multiple industry organizations, including board memberships with the Pittsburgh Chapter of NAIOP and the University of Pittsburgh Business Alumni Association for nearly a decade, including a five-year tenure as chair of the Alumni Scholarship Committee.

Patrick Lilly

Patrick Lilly has more than 40 years of experience in the banking and credit union industries. Most of that time was associated with loan production and loan production management. His lending expertise runs the gamut from consumer, commercial, construction, and municipal, as well as all manner of government guaranteed lending, structuring, underwriting, and sales production management.

In addition, Pat has over 25 years of involvement in branch management, branch administration, new market, and M&A experience that gives him a unique perspective on the independent community bank and credit union industries. Pat holds certificates in Financial Counseling, Banking Compliance, and Personnel Management from Arizona State University, the Notre Dame Center for Continuing Education, and Credit Union National Association. He has been an elected local government official, has chaired a redevelopment agency and municipal economic development corporations, and has sat on numerous boards of charities and local government service districts.

David A. Reno

Dave Reno is a career-long community banker, having begun work as a bank management trainee in 1983. His focus at Young & Associates is in loan review and all aspects of credit and lending.

Dave has served as the Chief Credit and Chief Lending Officer in community banks in the upper Midwest, Southwest, and Southeast. As a result of his work in some of those institutions where his expertise was needed to remediate regulatory agency required corrective actions, he possesses a superior reputation with a nationwide variety of bank regulatory agencies. As a senior executive in banks from $50MM to $500MM, he has become intimately knowledgeable of successful banking strategies and tactics, deepened his commitment to customer service, and remained steadfast in the need for compliant processes with exceptional attention to detail.

In his various roles, Dave has actively participated in numerous community and educational non-profit organizations to further their mission and out of regard for his own commitment to giving back to local communities. He is a strong supporter of the role that community financial institutions play in their neighborhoods and the financial services industry, and he is passionately committed to assisting them in achieving long-term sustainability of their institutions and the contributions they make to the communities they serve.

Dave is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration in Finance. Dave also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Christopher Elliott

Chris Elliott has been with Young & Associates since 2011. His primary responsibilities include all areas of loan review, including acting as Lead Consultant, a loan review consultant, interacting with client banks prior to and after on-site visits, and preparing loan review management reports.

Chris also serves as a trainer to others at Young & Associates regarding loan review responsibilities. Chris also conducts BSA and consumer compliance reviews for client banks. His prior work experience includes work as a financial advisor at Ameriprise Financial.

He studied Business and Finance at The Ohio State University and Youngstown State University.

Karley Anderson

Karley Anderson brings over five years of extensive experience in the banking industry to her role as Associate Consultant & Lending Administrator at Y&A.  

With a robust background in commercial credit administration, mortgage lending, and commercial underwriting, Karley has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of financial processes and client service. 

In her capacity at Y&A, Karley plays a pivotal role in facilitating smooth operations within the loan review department. She is instrumental in assisting loan review staff by meticulously preparing and organizing data, as well as generating comprehensive reports for both clients and internal stakeholders. Beyond her administrative responsibilities, Karley serves as a primary point of contact for clients, offering assistance and addressing inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. 

Karley’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and special education from The University of Akron. This unique blend of educational expertise and hands-on experience in the banking sector equips her with a well-rounded skill set that is invaluable in her current role.
